Gambitt Academy (Rules/Strategies)

Rules and Elements – Flags

The basic Gambitt rules and elements such as chatter, no head shots or over aggression, arrow charge, life arrows, three hit take down, swoop bow attacks, strike forces and pretty much everything else non Flag game specific will apply to the game Occupation as well.

Below will explain the game Occupation and all specific elements

Rules and Elements – Occupation

All gameplay rules and elements such as the three hit take down and arrow charge are the same as “Flags” rules. The actual game of “Occupation” on the other hand is much different. The pictures below show how the game is played.

To win, a team must occupy the majority of zones in the game field. When a team occupies more zones than the opposition, the game is won. This is shown in the picture where the blue flags outnumber the zones with red flags. Here, blue has won.

Winning a zone is a little more complex. In the other picture the red team is winning the zone because they now have three players in the inner circle. They took down a blue player which was forced outside of the inner circle. To get back in the inner circle, the blue players must take down a red player outside of circle. If that happens, and both teams have three players in circle, the clock starts over. The moment a team has three players in the inner circle and the other team has been reduced to two or less players in circle, a 30 second timer starts. If the team with three players in the circle holds there occupancy for 30 seconds, that team has won the zone. Players on the inside battle only players on the inside, and vise versa. Players on the outside only fight players on the outside. Arrow charges, on the other hand, are allowed to enter or exit circle. In the picture, red team will win if they keep three players in, while their teammates on the outside don’t let any blue player back in.

To offer further explanations on rule and elements for the games, attempts have been made to make them more clear in different instructional vids. If you need another video explanation on another rule or element lets us know in a call or an email.
